I’m trying to achieve something

A goal I do not yet know

On a path no one has walked

I keep stumbling

Fumbling in the haze

Not realizing how far astray I’ve gone

Until I notice the silent darkness surrounding me

And look up at the clock

The hour hand points at three

I’m here

Thinking, alive
